In this regard, the province of Negros Occidental, alongside with SCOOP-Bacolod, and Sports Turismo Alliance came up with this idea of hosting the Abanse Negrense Online Sports Mentoring Program activity that will help coaches, student-athletes, sports leaders, and sports enthusiasts keep themselves mentally, physically, and psychologically sound amid this COVID-19 pandemic.

Likewise, this is also a way to show that the province of Negros Occidental is trying to find ways to deliver its sports programs and services to the people in any platform available.

A total of 450 participants from Negros Occidental and some parts of the country have registered for this activity featuring 6 sports events.
